About Our Ministries

We are a camping ministry that exists to provide an environment in which all our guests can come to know Christ or more fully experience Him.

We offer a variety of camping and mission experiences for kids, youth, and adults, as well as facilities to plan your own events and retreats.

Kentucky Baptist Assemblies was created in 1997 and given the properties of Jonathan Creek Camp and Cedarmore Camp from the Kentucky Baptist Convention for the sole purpose of saving the camps from certain financial ruin and to create programs and events to impact people for the Kingdom's sake.

KBA first began Crossings at Jonathan Creek in the summer of 2000, Crossings at the Creek. Crossings was a large success in spite of being only the first year. As people began to understand that Crossings was completely devoted to seeing students' lives change through a relational-based approach to camp ministry unlike anywhere in the world, growth began to occur.

The summer of 2006, another Crossings Camp was born at Cedarmore. Once again, built upon our promise to see students' lives changed, Crossings at Cedarmore 2006 was a huge success.

Our Statement of Experience is the following:

We desire that each person will…

  • Accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior
  • Grow in their faith and character development
  • Establish the priorities of prayer, Bible Study, and Christian fellowship in association with a local church
  • Devote their lives in service to the Lord Jesus Christ at home and abroad
