Jonathan Creek 's facilities are designed to serve church groups, youth groups, colleges/universities, and ministry organizations. Our staff's goal is to help create an environment where you can come to know Christ or more fully experience Him.

Recreation and Programming Options

Jonathan Creek offers the following options for rental groups to participate in recreation activities:

    • Challenge Course – The challenge course at Jonathan Creek is a series of teambuilding events using low ropes elements. Facilitated by our staff, the challenge course is a great way to teach your group (youth or adults) the value of thinking and working together. (20 person minimum; additional fee)
    • Climbing Tower – Climbing the Alpine Tower at Jonathan Creek is an exciting challenge designed to allow the individual to practice overcoming obstacles. Our staff will guide you through the climbing process while your team cheers you on from below. (20 person minimum; additional fee)
    • Lake Activities (seasonal) – Jonathan Creek’s lake features a blob, 2 trampolines, and a 15-foot iceberg to guarantee tons of fun in the water. (20 person minimum; additional fee)
    • Mountain Biking Trails (seasonal) – Take your group on an exciting adventure through our mountain biking trails at Jonathan Creek. Our staff will lead you through this challenging course made for kids of all ages. (10 person minimum; additional fee)

Directions

Note: Although our address is 3043 Beal Road, Hardin, KY, DO NOT go to Hardin, KY to find the conference center. Jonathan Creek is located approximately 4 miles west of Aurora, KY. We are approximately 120 miles northwest of Nashville, 200 miles southwest of Louisville, and 200 miles southeast of St. Louis.

From Louisville:

1. Take Interstate 65 South to Elizabethtown
2. Get on Western Kentucky Parkway at Elizabethtown
3. Take Western Kentucky Parkway to Interstate 24 (Paducah exit)
4. Exit from Interstate 24 onto Purchase Parkway (Exit 25A, Fulton exit)
5. Take Purchase Parkway to Exit 47 Draffenville/Aurora.
6. Turn left off Exit 47 and travel approximately 15 miles until you cross the Jonathan Creek Bridge.
7. After crossing the bridge, you will come to the top of the hill and see the Dinner Bell Restaurant on the right.
8. Turn right unto Beal Road, which is in front of the Dinner Bell Restaurant. (If you pass the Dinner Bell and come to Aurora, you have gone to far.)
9. Travel 1.5 miles on Beal Road until you come to a white water tower.
10. Turn right about 100 ft beyond the water tower and enter the grounds to Jonathan Creek Camp and Conference Center.

From Cincinnati:

1. Take Interstate 75 to Lexington, KY.
2. Get on Bluegrass Parkway and take to Elizabethtown, KY.
3. Get on Western Kentucky Parkway at Elizabethtown.
4. Take Western Kentucky Parkway to Interstate 24 (Paducah exit)

1. Follow Interstate 24 to the Purchase Parkway.
2. Exit from Interstate 24 onto Purchase Parkway (Exit 25A, Fulton exit)
3. Take Purchase Parkway to Exit 47 Draffenville/Aurora.
4. Turn left off Exit 47 and travel approximately 15 miles until you cross the Jonathan Creek Bridge.
5. After crossing the bridge, you will come to the top of the hill and see the Dinner Bell Restaurant on the right.

From Memphis:

1. Take Highway 51 to Purchase Parkway
2. Take Purchase Parkway to Exit 47 Draffenville/Aurora.
3. Turn right unto Hwy 68 and travel approximately 15 miles until you cross the Jonathan Creek Bridge.
4. After crossing the bridge, you will come to the top of the hill and see the Dinner Bell Restaurant on the right.
5. Turn right unto Beal Road, which is in front of the Dinner Bell Restaurant. (If you pass the Dinner Bell and come to Aurora, you have gone to far.)
6. Travel 1.5 miles on Beal Road until you come to a white water tower.
7. Turn right about 100 ft beyond the water tower and enter the grounds to Jonathan Creek Camp and Conference Center.

From Nashville:

1. Take Interstate 24 West to Cadiz (Exit 65)
2. Turn left off exit and proceed west on Highway 68/80.
3. Cross Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake (Two bridges)
4. After crossing the second bridge, turn right at the top of the hill onto Hightway 68 (it is poorly marked).  Stay on Highway 68 and go approximately 5 miles until you reach the Dinner Bell Restaurant on the left. The Dinner Bell is approximately 2 miles from Aurora. (If you come to a small bridge called the Jonathan Creek Bridge, you have gone to far)
5. Turn left onto Beal Road immediately past the Dinner Bell Restaurant. It will look like you are turning into a parking lot.
6. Travel 1.5 miles on Beal Road until you come to a white water tower.
7. Turn right about 100 ft beyond the water tower and enter the grounds to Jonathan Creek Camp and Conference Center.

Book a Retreat

Retreat Policies

Financial

  • A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve dates and lodging.
  • Thirty days after receipt of the deposit, a signed contract is due along with an advanced payment of $20 per person. Groups Scheduling more than 6 months in advance will not be responsible for the advanced payment until 6 months prior to the event. This advanced payment will secure the number of rooms needed for your requested dates.  If the advanced payment is not received, dates will be released for rental to other groups and the initial deposit will be forfeited.
  • A final group member count will be due to our office the Monday before a group's scheduled arrival. This number will be the minimum for billing. Facility preparation and food ordering will be based on this number.  Your numbers may increase up until arrival on the property as available space will allow.  However, the number you submit on the Monday prior to your event will be the MINIMUM NUMBER FOR WHICH YOU WILL BE BILLED.
  • Full and final payment must be postmarked the day before the scheduled event. A $100 late fee will be assessed for groups failing to meet the deadline.

    Forms
  • All groups must submit a "Certificate of Liability Insurance" prior to their arrival on the property. Crossings Ministries should be added to the policy as "additional insured." Forms may be mailed or faxed. (fax: 502-491-8001)
  • All guests under the age of 18 must complete a Crossings Medical Release Form. These forms may be brought to the property upon arrival.
  • All guests participating in teambuilding, challenge course, climbing tower activities or lake sports must complete a Crossings Medical Release Form (this includes adults over the age of 18). Forms may be brought to the property upon arrival.

Cancellations

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • All advanced payments are non-refundable.
